However, just out of curiosity has anyone ever questioned that if you have this safety device securely attached to you by attaching the key chain on the device to an item you are wearing (which is how I use mine) and you have to yank it to activate it, the part that is devised to draw attention by blinking and making a loud noise is now detached from a fixed position on you and is now in your hand where the perpetrator could potentially just grab it from you and separate you from it by quickly throwing it and ushering you away. Now you are separated from your safety device. Wouldn’t it make more sense, then, that the part that is the deterrent is the part that should remain attached to the key chain in a fixed position.
