The slick plastic does a great job of not picking up much off the ground (even in a high-traffic grassy area) and then being really easy to clean by just shaking. It’s a bit like folding up a paper map, so it might take some practice to do it fast, but it does fold down to a very convenient size that is then secured by velcro, makes it very easy to carry around. We keep it in the original plastic packaging for another layer of separation, that, and the fact that the mat itself stays relatively clean, makes it feasible to put right next to anything else you might wish to keep clearn in a carrying bag. The pattern is distinct enough that you can use it in a large festival or gathering and easily find your spot. I bought it to put under a playpen to litter box train my 15 oz 10 week old chihuahua. For him to travel from his bed to the pine pellet litter box . And needed something waterproof. And just hoped it would last till I was done training. Litter pads are so expensive over the long run, which is why we decided pine pellet training. However this thing is great!! It’s thin but no means flimsy. And sturdy. My hats off to the company, you’ve made an awesome product at very little cost.You should consider marketing it for the uses I’ve described.
