Easy to put on, all openings are aligned, and velcro attaches with ease. The pvc/plastic is lightweight but durable and has a lining along the edges. There was a slight odor upon opening, though this was similar to when opening a new shower curtain liner and aired out overnight.I plan to use this as a dust cover when my luggage is in storage, not for actual travel use, and this meets my needs and is a great value. It is very slightly baggy on it but not like it’s hanging off (and the Beis cover fits like a glove so it’s a tough competitor). This cover definitely saved my luggage from scuffs! I’m happy with how thick the PVC is; I never had a doubt that it would hold up and protect my luggage well. The PVC is clear, and there is a black trim at the edges/seams. There is no zipper so you do have to remove it entirely to open your luggage which is only annoying when you’re packing and forgot to add something. The quality of the velcro on the bottom is great- the Beis velcro is incredibly strong to a fault; the velcro on this cover is just right; strong but you won’t hurt yourself opening it! I am 100% happy with this purchase.Note for Beis carry-on users: the alignment for the top handles isn’t PERFECT but it’s not a burden to use at all. The only thing you cannot use is the little holder tab on the top-front of the luggage, and a reminder that this cover does not have a zipper and has to me removed completely to open your luggage. I had to check in my case through Southwest this week and when I pulled it out of the baggage carousel the cover was completely damaged, scuffed, and even had small holes and tears on one side from how it was tossed around by the airport. I wish I would have kept it to show the photo of how bad it looked but I ended up removing it at the airport to confirm my bag wasn’t damaged and then I tossed it in the trash at the airport. My suitcase was totally intact and pristine. No damage whatsoever. I only removed one star because (even though it really wasn’t that big of a deal) it didn’t quite fit the Beis when I used the extender on the suitcase to make it fit more items. It made the cover very snug and I had a tad bit of trouble getting it on all the way and the handles didn’t align anymore. Also the cover was no longer long enough to seal closed at the bottom because of the added width. It’s not a complaint really more of just an observation. It still managed to do it’s job perfectly. I still would 100% recommend this cover. Reviewer: Ed Rating: 5.0 out of 5 stars Title: So worth it! Review: I bought 3 of these for our smaller suitcases and couldn’t be happier. They fit just right on my 3 small samsonites, which flips open 50/50 from the middle style and not top lid. But keep in mind that it will not work if you want to expand the suitcase. I got these as I try to avoid checking them in as I don’t want my suitcases damaged but I noticed I would still get scatches even having them in the overhead binds. This past trip, we were forced to check them in and i was happy with the protection the bags gave. The bags came out dirty with minor scatches but my suitcase was perfect. I also like how it makes the bag feel more secure as I don’t have to rely on just the zippers to keep the bag closed. They don’t get in the way of the extendable handle or the 4 roller wheelers. This is now my other favorie thing I pair with my suitcases. The other is a 32″ bungie cord I carry per bag to secure my backpacks around the extending handle so I don’t have to carry it around off the flight Reviewer: Elizabeth Rating: 1.0 out of 5 stars Title: Doesn’t stay on!!!! Do not buy. Review: Zero stars if I could. The cover doesn’t stay on at all. Reviewer: Ernie Belaski Rating: 3.0 out of 5 stars Title: If you travel a lot, this will probably not hold up. Review: convienient, but it broke the first time I used it. It could have been the way it was handled but I did expect more from the product. I predict it will provide decent protection for one long trip. From past experience it depends on how many times your luggage will be manhandled by airport luggage folks. Here in NYC they toss them like garbage bags so considering the treatment these are a good value for your money. Beats coming home with a scratched up luggage. My first flight the cover came off and they just put it on top of the luggage. By the third flight my luggage came without a cover.
