I’m now in my “get in shape before I turn into a sentient cinnamon roll” phase, so naturally, I needed a scale that could handle the truth—gently.Enter: this Vitafit scale.Let me start by saying, this thing is classy. The silver-black finish gives it that cool, sleek “I belong in a high-end spa” look, but it’s not trying too hard. It just is that girl.Now, I’m nearsighted, and mornings before I’ve put in my contacts are a bit of a blurry mess. But this scale has a large, bright LED display that I can actually read without squinting like I’m deciphering ancient runes. Big win.Here’s what I love:Accurate AF. I weighed myself three times in a row just to test it (also because I was in denial), and it gave me the exact same number. No shady fluctuations.Instant-on feature. I step on, it lights up, tells me what I need to know, and we go our separate ways. No tapping, waiting, or negotiating required.Auto shut-off. Once it delivers the news, it ghosts me in a very healthy-boundaries kind of way.Switches between lb/kg/st. Not that I need to know what I weigh in stones, but it’s nice to feel international sometimes.Includes 3 AAA batteries. Because nothing ruins a “new toy” mood like finding out you need to raid your TV remote for batteries.A few quick tips: put it on a flat, hard surface. I tried it on my super plush bath mat and the results were… optimistic. Also, don’t move it around too much between weigh-ins unless you want it to throw a little digital tantrum that says “CAL” (which is code for: “Ma’am, I need a second to recalibrate because you spun me like a Roomba”).Final thoughts:This scale didn’t insult me, didn’t lie to me, and didn’t make me cry. Title: Great Value but a tad small.
Review: Easy to read, seems very well made, heavy for its size, and consistent on the weight but the scale is a bit small. They really needed to add 1+ inch all around this platform. The Vitafit scale you must be barefoot as me with a 11 US Size shoe barefoot i almost fill this scale up. If you wear larger than size 12 men’s shoe, this scale is probably too small for you barefoot. Picture comparing to the 15 year old scale that broke to the Vitafit with size 11 shoes on both. 5 star scale, reduced to 4 star because it really needed to be a tad larger for the normal population of people. For $15 bucks or so, it’s a great deal. Consider avoiding the smart scales as 80% to 90% of their BMI, Fat %, muscle % is simply math on height/weight/gender 10% to 20% adjustment based on the sensors. 1000% higher price ($150 scale) for 10% to 20% more accurate readings on these other measurements than simple rote math any app can give you an estimate of. This scale is simply weight, no smart recording of any type, nothing fancy to be clear. Perfect for me.

Review: I bought this scale because I believed in honesty and accountability. What I got instead was a brutally honest life coach that does not care about my feelings. I stepped on it once and it immediately told me things I was not emotionally prepared to hear before coffee.The scale is sleek accurate and boots up faster than my motivation to diet. Every time I step on it the number is the same which tells me this thing is either extremely reliable or deeply committed to calling me out. No blinking no buffering no mercy. Just facts.It’s so sensitive that I’m pretty sure it can detect when I think about carbs. I weighed myself after dinner and then again after drinking water and yes it noticed. I’m convinced it keeps a log somewhere judging my life choices.That said it works perfectly easy to read super clean design and it hasn’t lied once even when I begged it to. If you want a scale that tells the truth every single time and helps keep your ego in check this is the one.Five stars for accuracy durability and emotional damage.

Review: I was skeptical that a scale with such a low price tag would be as good as this scale turned out to be. I was replacing our older scale which was very accurate but only measured in 1/2 pound increments, and you had to trigger the scale with a quick foot tap to wake it up. This scale allows you to just step on it and it will quickly zero itself, then show your weight. You can step on and off and back on several times and you’ll get the same consistent reading. We chose the black model, and its plain surface design is simple and elegant and I imagine that it’ll fit well in any bathroom decor. We’ve had it for a few weeks now and plan to keep it.
