Title: Lovely little iron! Pefect for sewing at your desk.
Review: If you hate ironing, I still recommend you at least give it a try with sewing, it helps SOOOOO much and will change your mind about it. Having a very cute little iron like this also helps.I don’t have a dedicated sewing area or even table. I use my desk with my computer, so space is a premium. I had been using my house iron, the standard size, which worked, but was heavy and took up a lot of space. Also awkward with small bits.If you don’t want to buy distilled water and store it just for the iron, just get a little spray bottle and keep with your iron to spray the fabric (or buy the spray heads and put on an empty isoproply alcohol/hydrogen peroxide bottle. The equate brand is the standard screw type and fits the heads you can buy here)After looking at lists and reddit posts, I went with this little guy.So cute, fits nicely in my IKEA cart I use for most of my sewing stuff. Takes up very little space but heats up fast and is great for seams or smoothing out small bits of fabric.I do wish it had a stainless steel foot plate/sole/thingy and auto shut off. (Not a fan of non-stick in general due to PFAS, but I am on a budget so. Compromise.)However, most people like that it doesn’t have an auto shutoff as that can be annoying when quilting. I just like it in case I’m forgetful, but have been diligent to just unplug it when in use.I bought a 4 ft long power-strip from Harbour Freight that spaces out the outlets, and it sits on my desk near the edge. This is very convenient for phone chargers, lights, tea kettle, AND the iron, as I don’t have to bend down or crawl around to unplug it. This also helps keep the cord up so my dogs don’t knock it down.I also have some cable clips that I stuck under my desk to help hold up the cords of my machine and iron. I feel this is a must if you have dogs who like to hang out under your desk, and they only cost a few bucks. I leave my cords for my machines under my desk all the time, and tuck the pedal into a little basket on the side. Convenient and out of the way.

Title: Small but mighty!
Review: I bought this to iron out some sewing projects and it works great. The only flaw I have noticed so far is that the water reservoir leaks a little bit. It’s not too bad and leaks right near the steaming buttons. While using, it doesn’t create much of a problem but could be a problem if you leave water in it. It doesn’t hold much water, but it’s worth it for the compact size! Plus, I was able to iron all of my quilt squares without refilling.

Title: Really works!
Review: Great little iron. I use it next to my sewing machine to press seams when quilting. Get hot enough to do the job and I’ve never had to use the steam function.

Title: Compact Iron That Punches Above Its Weight
Review: Compact Iron That Punches Above Its WeightThis little Sunbeam travel iron surprised me with how effective it is for such a compact unit. At first glance, it looks like something that would only handle the lightest touch-ups, but in practice it heats quickly, puts out a good amount of steam, and smooths wrinkles in clothes just fine. I’ve used it on shirts, slacks, and even a light cotton dress while traveling, and it got the job done without me having to go over the same spot repeatedly. The dual voltage feature is a big plus if you travel internationally—it means I don’t have to pack a separate converter, just an adapter plug. The size is also perfect for slipping into a carry-on or even a tote bag. The non-stick soleplate glides easily and hasn’t snagged or left marks on fabric.A couple of things to keep in mind: the water reservoir is very small, so if you’re doing a lot of steaming you’ll be refilling often. Also, the handle is on the smaller side—it works for me, but someone with larger hands might find it a bit cramped. It’s not meant to replace a full-sized home iron; it’s for touch-ups, quick presses, and keeping clothes presentable on the road.Bottom line: A handy, well-designed travel iron that performs better than expected for its size. Great for business trips, vacations, or keeping in a dorm room when space is tight.

Review: Travelled through Croatia for 2 weeks with the iron and it worked great! Heated up in 10-15 seconds and was ready to use! Nice long electrical chord and it’s extremely lightweight and easy to handle. Small water reservoir to help with steaming cotton or linen! I loved the ability to switch from 120V (North America) to 220V (Europe). Great little iron at a very reasonable price! Would highly recommend!
