Title: Excellent product
Review: I read the reviews before purchasing and all the great reviews were spot-on. This is a light-feeling lotion that was great to put on my face under my make-up. The smell is a light-scented tropical smell. Most importantly, this sunscreen works. I purchased the SPF 50, and applied it a few times while on the beach and never burned at all. This is my new go-to for sunscreen.

Review: I’ve been using the Sun Bum Original SPF 50 Sunscreen for a while now, and I have mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, it’s definitely a good sunscreen. It does its job well, offering solid protection against sunburn, and I haven’t experienced any skin issues using it. The lotion is easy to apply, absorbs fairly quickly, and doesn’t leave a greasy residue, which is a big plus for me.However, there are a couple of downsides. First, the price. I find it a bit on the expensive side compared to other options available. There are many other sunscreens out there that offer more quantity for a lower price. Of course, there are also some that cost more than Sun Bum, but the price point is still a consideration for me. That said, it’s worth noting that Sun Bum is vegan, gluten-free, and enriched with Vitamin E. For people who need a gluten-free or vegan sunscreen, or are looking for additional skin benefits from Vitamin E, this could justify the higher price. If you’re paying extra, you are getting these added benefits, which you might not get from cheaper alternatives. Even so, I believe the price is kinda okay, but it would be great if we could get a little more quantity.The second thing is the smell. This is where my feelings are really mixed. Sometimes I enjoy the scent – it has a unique, tropical aroma that’s quite distinctive. Other times, I’m not as fond of it. I think this will really come down to personal preference; some people might love it, while others might find it a bit overwhelming.Overall, Sun Bum Original is a reliable sunscreen that does what it’s supposed to do. If you’re okay with the price and are curious about the scent, it’s worth giving it a try. Personally, I might explore some other options next time just to see if I can find something more cost-effective that I consistently enjoy.

Title: Lake & ocean friendly…Our new fave sunscreen!
Review: Bought 4 different Sun Bum products in an effort to find a line without the chemicals that are now known to damage ocean and lake systems. The products were the Original SPF 30, 50, and Face 50 lotions, as well as the 50 Spray.The teenagers in the house immediately snagged them for their swim bags because they 1: loved the scent 2: loved the eco-friendly ingredients. I agree! The scent wasn’t overpowering at all.The 50 lotion and 50 face lotion worked very well during a recent multi-day trip to a lake at 8000+ elevation. The kids prefer the spray because it’s easy, but they seemed to get burned when using the spray. Most likely because it didn’t get applied well. (That’s a typical problem with applying sprays from what I’ve read.)I use the SPF 30 as my daily sunscreen on my arms, shoulders, legs, feet & neck.All the products rubbed in evenly and spread well. No breakouts, even using the face lotion. We do have sensitive skin.I’m going to reorder since it was a hit for both me and the teens who were on the lake trip. We’re going through it faster than most sunscreens. It’s a good sign when people actually like the sunscreen enough that there’s no resistance to using it!

Review: By far the best sunscreen we have used this summer. We have tried everything from Coola and Murad at the high end to many other brands. We found this was a nice compromise between the chemical sunscreens and the mineral. Although not 100% chemical free it does have a lot less active ingredients than most brands and it works. It smells like vacation too:). My kids used this while surfing all morning and did not burn. Their Sunbum block is also good. It is not greasy and does not leave a white mark. Ideally we would use mineral all the time but sometimes its just not practical to look like casper the ghost when you are going to an outdoor event so Sumbum 50 is the best we have found so far:)

Review: This is a chemical sunscreen. This is not a face sunscreen. This is only for the body. Expiration date is almost a year from now and it came sealed. The consistency of the sunscreen is too thick for my liking but it blends in well. It does start pilling if you add too much though. It’s sticky in humid weather, not suitable for the beach. It has a strong smell of coconuts and cacoa butter which some might not like. Please check the ingredient list as this is not hypoallergenic. Would give this sunscreen a 5/10.

Review: Descubrimos la crema en un viaje a Maldivas, ya que los rayos tienen mayor incidencia al estar más cerca del ecuador que España. Teníamos cremas de factor 50 de otras marcas, Nivea, Ecran, Delial, etc… y con Sun Bum fue con la única que no nos quemamos. Nos dio tan buen resultado que la usábamos como AfterSun para las rojeces y quemaduras. Desde entonces nos la llevamos a todos los viajes.
