I will contact the seller to request new panels.I strongly recommend using washers on the bolts for the wood panels to avoid this..The cross supports are COMPLETELY wrong for this bed and I had to modify them with a hacksaw in order to be able to finish the installation (see photo of the cross support) … totally ridiculous!It’s a lot flimsier, my other bed is much stronger.The tolerances are not as tight and it’s lacks quality…The assembly was difficult at times because of the cross supports being completely wrong.The noise level is ok but the bed-frame is not really strong enough.The height is good, it’s easy to store items under the bed.In my opinion, this bed was made in a different manufacturing facility than the one I bought 6 months ago.I recommended the bed frame I bought 6 months ago but I most certainly cannot recommend this one even though they are supposed to be the same thing.. It’s pretty solid for what it is and was extremely easy to put together, took about 25-30 minutes. When placing the mattress on the frame it seems to move easily but once the mattress was on the frame for a couple days it kinda conformed to the frame and now doesn’t move unless you try to move it.
