I thought that these might be the solution. They were…Sort of.The drawer in question was a standard sized drawer (18 1/2 inches long by 12 1/2 inches wide and 3 inches deep). I was able to fit five of these organizers into the space.Each organizer has enough dividers to be able to be divided into 8 smaller compartments. The dividers are included and are removable. The dividers DO NOT go all the way to the top to seal against the lid (See the image). I knew that going into this and it wasn’t an issue for me, but if you are buying these to store small parts that might get jostled, they will most likely not stay in their original compartment. There were also 10 silicone cable ties included with each organizer as well as a lid that fits securely into the top of the organizer. The lid has a lip on top that allows the organizers to be stacked without slipping off of each other. With the lid on, the organizers are 2 3/8 inches tall. Without the lid, they are 2 inches tall.As far as holding cables, I think that each of the individual compartments are too small to hold a cable unless it is wrapped really tight (Which could damage the cable). As you can see in the image, I ended up using two or three compartments for multiple similar cables. In my instance, using the lids was an annoyance because I would have to pull the whole organizer out of the drawer to remove the lid. The lid is a tight fit and is very smooth which might be an problem for people with hand mobility issues. I chose not to use the lids. I now have a stack of lids with no use for them.The cable ties are great and seem strong. The only problem I had with them is that they are slick and trying to get them over a larger cable plug was complete chore. Not impossible but still a chore.If I could do this over again, I’d probably look for an organizer that was a little bit taller and wide enough to completely fit my drawer. I’m not faulting these. The lack of planning and measuring, is on me.If these fit your bill, they are worth it. The plastic is thick and not flimsy at all. If anything changes at my end, I’ll update this review. The slots are just a tad too small for a lot of our cords, but since the dividers are customizable it’s okay.
