Review: I purchased the 5 pack of yellow luggage tags for two reasons:1. I wanted something yellow so I could easily identify which black suitcase out of all the black suitcases was mine. This way, it’s even easy to see from a distance as the luggage carousel dumps my bags on the belt.2. I wanted tags that were heavy-duty and reasonably resistant to pulling, tearing and removal by nefarious ner-do-wells who would steal my stuff in addition to careless and brutal baggage handlersI got both visibility and toughness with this product. As a corporate video producer, I carry lots of video gear with me across the United States and losing a case of expensive gear because a cheap, airline-supplied paper tag fell off is an easily-avoidable mistake with these tough plastic tags. Each tag is about 20% larger than a standard business card, but also quite thick- my guess would be about 1/4″ thick. They are very stiff and don’t flex. A clear, plastic window of moderate thickness slides over the business card, protecting it from spills and gouging. plus, the bright yellow color is hard to miss.A clear, stretchy loop of rubbery plastic about 6″ long slips through a slot on top of the tag. This is pulled through itself to secure the loop to the tag (at the same time securing the card within the tag) . Once done, the opposite end of the loop is pulled through a ring or strap on the luggage. Then, while pulling and stretching the loop (it’s rubbery, remember?), the tag is pushed through the loop and pulled tightly. Once released, the loop contracts to its normal, smaller length. Now the tag is secured to the luggage, ready to serve you on your travels.Even though a determined thief could simply cut the loop and dispose of the tag, I feel reasonably certain that in most cases, these rugged tags will serve me well for years to come.I’ll check back in after a year or so and report on long term durability. The price averaged out to $10/tag. As I said- The difficult-to-find card design picture was what I paid for most likely. Then I looked on Amazon, with the idea to create my own for family gifts etc. These luggage tags are the exact same quality and durability. Even the inserted info tag is the same. Now all I need to do is look for pictures or designs or stickers that I like and cut them to size, if needed. These will make great gifts for anyone who has a bag. I’m so glad I found these. I’m sure the vendor I purchased from also uses the same product. Reviewer: Ralph O. Type out your own labels and slip ‘em in, use a business card template Reviewer: John Rating: 5.0 out of 5 stars Title: Very sturdy and easy to attach Review: Some have experienced difficulties attaching the tag to a luggage handle using the supplied plastic band. Here’s how to do it. First insert one end of the band through the slot in the tag, making two loops, one on each side of the tag slot. Insert the end of one loop through the other and pull tight, firmly attaching the tag to the plastic band. Then wrap the remaining loop around the luggage handle, insert the tag through that loop, and pull tight. You may need to stretch the loop about one inch before inserting the tag through it. Hope this is helpful. Reviewer: Nprvl Rating: 3.0 out of 5 stars Title: Well made and sturdy Review: Sturdy and well made. Good if you just want to use the supplied paper address label. I wanted to insert a plastic QR tag for greater security and privacy, but found the inside space was too thin so I had to return.
