Title: Great little machine. I recommend you heat water first for longer battery life.
Review: Great little espresso maker, very portable, great for travelling. It’s nice that you can use it both with your own ground espresso or with pods. It will heat water, but the battery lasts much longer if you use hot water to start. I actually tried a few other brands and returned them for various reasons. I think this is the best of all the choices.

Title: Convenient in unusual places
Review: Were you ever reluctant to leave your casino machine for an espresso ? Because it takes so long to get someone to lock, and then unlock, your machine –or simply flag down a waitress ? Well, problem solved. Very decent espresso, ground or pod, ! Very portable. I only wish it came with a custom carrying case and an extra device for ground coffee. I ordered another company’s carrying case and will order Cera”s extra grounds container when available. Not a big fan of pods, usually not very fresh and sometimes negative effect on the environment. But this little machine solves an annoying problem and will eventually pay for itself. Only mistake I made is following another blogger*s advice to get the cream color. It’s the usual awful brown/gray taupe. (Wish I had ordered white). But that”s on me, not the product. Will test if really leak proof, unlike some “leak proof” containers I have ordered. That would truly make it a wonderful buy !! Update: It appeared leak proof on a short trip; will test further on a longer trip and update. But really glad I bought it, especially now in hurricane season. Update 2: We recently had 2 power outages, about a week apart. The first one lasted about 5 hrs. The second one was actually twice during the same day, for 2 to 4 hrs. each. I made use of the portable espresso maker on both days. It was great!! Now, (reluctantly) on to the worst hurricane season ever predicted… This machine is small and a tiny part of climate change preparation. (I do want to say, I know Cera has their own custom case, but not with the deal I was offered. If the case and machine are offered on sale, grab it )!

Title: Love the concept, might have a faulty device.
Review: I purchased this during prime day for an upcoming camping trip. Fast forward a few weeks to during and after the trip. It’s convenient for a cup of espresso during camping or travel where easy access to a cup of espresso isn’t possible.What I don’t like about this is that you really and truly only get 2 to 3 brews if heating up your water first. Even if the water is warm, it still burns through the battery to make the water hotter. Also, this does not produce the foam head you see in the videos. Maybe I got a bad machine but mine doesn’t give the foam head and sometimes I have to go through the brew cycle a few times before it starts to dispense the coffee. I prefer using the nespresso pods as they are less messy than loose grounds during camping.I love the concept of this coffee maker’s convenience for travel, but it doesn’t quite hit the mark for me, maybe I should have gone with one of the other 2 competitor brands I was considering originally. It’s worth the money if only it would work consistently. Unfortunately I cannot return or replace the device because my return window closed while on my trip. Now I’m stuck with a wonky device that works when it feels like it. Hoping the manufacturer/seller sees this review and me reaches out to me to find a resolution.

Title: Worked fine but suddenly stopped – Update Change in rating
Review: Update: After posting this review, it dawned on me to check the area (holes) where the water comes out from the heating element part to the capsule itself. I inserted a toothpick and did a little swirl. (See the photo) . It is now working again and I am a happy camper. Seller offered a refund but not needed now. I’m happy to figure this trick out. Original review: I had been Purchased in March 2024, used it for trips. Worked great till July. Heats the water but will not flow through to the capsule. Have cleaned it multiple times and still not working. Tried different brands of capsules also. I got my money’s worth but will not repurchase.

Title: Great affordable option
Review: Exactly as it states. Nice color. Only make one shot at a time which is not bad if you like to have a faster coffee then I would reccomed to at least buy one, that can do two shots a time …if not you will have to wiat about 10 minutes or just heat up the water before putting on the espresso maker so that is faster. Either way satisfaction with purchase as it is exactly what described

Review: I’m always traveling and want a good cup of coffee when I do. I like that this allows for pods or grounds. Also it’s fast if I have another source for hot water or wait in between each brew if using room temp water
