Title: Great product
Review: Perfect office companion!I don’t write reviews usually but this espresso machine really impressed me. It somehow fits my mug perfectly and I bring it to work everyday (I might as well leave it there but I sometimes drinks at home as well). I haven’t tried the powder adaptor yet but it already surpassed the espresso pods machine we have at work. I don’t need to leave my seat to get hot espresso and the battery lasts forever! The only thing is I wish it comes with a stand so I can see the espresso drips into my mug but otherwise perfect!

Title: Very nice product
Review: Be ware of fake or cheaply made ones. I ordered four of the portable espresso makers to test each one and this one is by far the best in terms of size, design, grip and function. Easy to maintain and does exactly what it says it does. Also I like that they have a story behind the product. Espresso comes out good. One thing I wish is that the cover or the cup is clear so I can see through it and that it has with a mark of 50, 70 and max ml.

Title: Not for extreme cold
Review: Update: the battery has failed pretty completely-it will not take a charge and I am unable to make a cup even with it plugged in and trying to charge…very frustrating. The plan to have good coffee quickly while traveling is pretty much a failure…I will be returning it and may try a new unit to see if I got a dud. This works well generally -quick shot of coffee with no leaks or mess. Battery charge dropped and it did not work at cold temperatures (-20 F) until it was warmed up and plugged in…It took a long time to get it warm enough to work. Unfortunately it failed at a bad time and in one the situations I bought it for. Nice at home and in the vehicle traveling in warm weather but don’t leave in there if it’s cold outside

Title: Great purchase, so far, so good
Review: This is a great little gadget and what made it even better was the guy on youtube’s fix to keep it more stable at the grind point. I was so glad I watched it. A .50 tweak was great. Made great coffee!! Happy.

Title: Battery may not be allowed on all airlines
Review: May not be allowed on certain airlines due to size of battery in 2026. Espresso is almost as good as my Breville…deduct half a star. What I really like is how easy it is use and to clean!! I have tried all sorts of lighter weight devices…where espresso quality may be the same, but cleanup was more of a hassle and mess. Great product.

Title: Solid, well built machine that is easy to use on the go
Review: A friend of mine used to have a portable espresso machine at the office but he moved away. They recently replaced our coffee machines with something that, I guess, resembles coffee. I ordered the CERA+ Self-Heating Portable Espresso Machine so that I could enjoy a tasty one at work again! The machine comes in a VERY giftable box that looks great. Inside, VERY WELL packed in foam is the machine itself, cleaning brush, charging cable and inserts for both Nespresso pods (only the ORIGINAL will work) or your own ground coffee. I have only used the pods so far so will focus on their use. The machine came fully charged and, with a quick look over the manual, I was in business. It is VERY simple to use. Insert the pod into the pod adapter and screw it into the machine and replace the coffee cup back on the bottom. Fill the reservoir with water to the fill line (they suggest not using tap water but only filtered or purified water) and replace the lid. Depending on whether you used hot or cold water will dictate how you start the machine. For cold water, press and hold the power button until the machine turns on (a few seconds) and the machine will heat the water (there are lights on the front that will light up in order as it heats) and, once to proper temperature, it will brew your coffee. If you are using pre-heated water, double tap the power button and the machine will instantly begin to brew your coffee. I didn’t realize the second one was only for hot water and double tapped it with cold, resulting in a tepid shot of espresso. Now, there is one negative that I think must be mentioned; the battery. Is is NOT a replaceable battery which means that, over time, when it wears down, the machine will essentially be useless. A better design would be for them to have the ability to purchase a replacement battery, even if it is proprietary to their company, so that the machine could be used indefinitely as it is a very solidly built brewer. It’s the only reason for my 4 star review.Overall, I am very happy with this espresso machine. It is definitely solidly built and super easy to use. It is extremely portable and the ability to not be tied down with a power cord is fantastic. The $140 price is in line with other, top end, portable espresso machines so I think it is well worth the price tag.

Review: This is easily one of my best recent purchases and an absolute lifesaver for travelling. I used it every single day while on holiday in South East Asia and it performed brilliantly. The self heating function is excellent. It heats the water quickly and makes proper espresso with good pressure and crema. Battery life is impressive. I was getting multiple coffees per charge and it easily lasted through long travel days. The build quality feels solid and premium, and it packs well into a bag without taking up too much space. One thing worth noting for anyone using Nespresso capsules, the capsule doesn’t perforate when you first insert it. The machine perforates it automatically once brewing starts, which is exactly how it’s designed to work. I initially thought something was wrong, but it works perfectly. It’s also very versatile. I even used it to heat water for tea when I didn’t have access to a kettle, which was incredibly handy while travelling.Easy to use, easy to clean, and genuinely useful on the move. If you travel, camp, or road trip, this is a fantastic bit of kit. Highly recommended.

Review: As a certifiable coffee snob, this little device both amazed and depressed me, somewhat. Using it with the Outin basket plus kit (yes, it fits perfectly. This is basically an Outin Nano with upgraded battery and heating element), my very first test shot was as good of a shot of espresso as I’ve ever had. Most shocking was the amazing, syrupy texture that I would have thought impossible from such a device. For reference, my espresso machine history includes a Kees Van Der Westen Speedster, Victoria Arduino Prima One and a variety of semi-commercial machines from ECM, Bezzera, Rocket and others. A portable, battery powered, non-adjustable device has no business making espresso competitive with these machines. But it does. Even the 12g basket that comes standard makes a shockingly good single shot, with rich, complex flavour, and real texture. By comparison, my parents have a new $1000 Sunbeam machine and this CERA+ makes unquestionably better espresso with the same beans and grind. It is not just competitive with the Sunbeam class of machine; in my experience it is superior. Obviously, I am lucky that the temperature, pressure and flow settings happen to perfectly suit my preferred beans and taste. The CERA+ Pro Plus model has a 58mm basket and bluetooth app allowing comprehensive adjustments of settings from temperature to flow to pre infusion time, if you want full control. But this base machine makes me not care for the pro model. It is supposed to be a compromised for the sake of convenience and portability. But it’s better than it has any right being. If you are looking for a portable Nespresso pod machine, this little machine is will do that as well as it can be done. But is capable of so much more. Give it some good ground coffee and it will amaze you.

Review: A great purchase for uncompromising espresso on the go. It has the longest battery capacity on the market. The quality of the materials is very good. A big plus is that the included ground coffee basket now holds 15 grams instead of 6-8 grams. This is a decent level of espresso. I actually bought an additional ground coffee basket from Outin, which holds 18 grams, producing a very good level of espresso. I also used capsules, and the results were excellent. One drawback is that if the grind is too fine, it breaks through the top connection and leaks from under the portafilter.

Review: I just received the thing, promptly made a perfect espresso with freshly ground coffee. This is a perfect travel companion. All you need is ground espresso beans.A little heavy for hiking, where a manual machine is better (Handpresso being my gold standard) or simply instant if it’s only a day or so.But for hotel’s warriors, living out of their luggage, like myself, this is 5 stars. Also perfect for intermittent home usage. It’s on par with any expensive espresso makers, but it requires slightly more cleaning and the probability of losing a piece of the machine is not negligible.
