Excellent paper texture for quill, charcoal, fountain, ball-point, graphite pencils, erases well.Perfect balance between absorption, hardnesses. On the side of neat/clean inside instead of smeary/dirty (bleed resistance/graphite smear). Crisper than soggy but the perfect compromise for a travel notebook. The paper is a good quality that I’ve had no issues with so far. I also love the size, its easy to carry around the house or stuff in a bag to take on the go. They are about 8 inches by 5 inchew and have the spiral at the top of the page. The weight of this paper is 68 lb so it’s on the thinner side for drawing. It’ll work for my needs but I would prefer something 100 lb weight or more. I’m using it for colored pencil drawing. It does say on the back of this sketchbook that it is only good for a dry medium meaning I would definitely not recommend this for watercolor painting because I don’t think these pages are going to hold up. Overall this is a very nice little two pack it would make a really good gift for anybody especially an artist. These are at one of the lower price points on Amazon for a 100 page sketchbook.
