Title: Works wonderfully & travels well
Review: I highly recommend this! I purchased it for an overseas mission trip to Africa. It folds up & packs well for travel. I used it in very rural villages where bagged water was all that was available. Before my trip I was cautioned against drinking bagged water, so I bought this in preparation. It comes with instructions for usage & long term storage. It also comes with a syringe for backwashing the filter in case it gets clogged & sluggish. I currently have mine with a salt solution for long term storage. It helps the filter not dry out & it’s explained in the included instructions how to do this. It’s foldable, but the material is very sturdy. When I had it full & was drinking, I squeezed it fairly hard & threw it in my backpack many times. It remained sound. I also love that each purchase provides clean drinking water to very deserving people. I witnessed true poverty during this trip to a 3rd world country, & everyone deserves clean drinking water.

Title: Awesome!
Review: I’ve never used anything like this before and I loved it! Purchased the 1L size for my June/July trip to Peru. Let me tell you that the water in Cusco had a strong smell and it ran milky white out of the tap. This filtration system removed all of that! I brushed my teeth, rinsed out refillable water bottles and cups, and washed/rinsed my invisible aligners with this. During long tours I carried it with water and there was no spillage. I loved that I could just squeeze it directly into what I needed (cup, aligners, bottles, my hands). Without squeezing there’s a nice steady flow of water that runs out of the filter which is nice.Initially the water will have like a charcoal taste, but it goes away after a couple of uses. Make sure you backwash the filter and rinse out the bag. It comes with the backwash syringe and it’s easy to use.Hint for removing the filter without it dropping: The top part of the bag is a stiff plastic, hold onto that when removing/twisting the cap for removal. DO NOT hold onto filter inside the bag while you twist off the cap for removal.

Title: Great water filter/bladder
Review: Love this water filter – it has served me well on several back-country trips. There is no off taste and the collapsible bladder keeps everything small and compact

Title: Great for travel!
Review: We bring this on the road so we can filter water in hotels along our route. It’s great because unlike the drinking bottle, you can squeeze water into a coffee pot or hot water heater. My daughter borrowed it to take to a holiday in the DR because she wanted to be sure her water didn’t have any incompatible bugs or contaminants. It works fairly quickly, but we’ve learned to use the water right away rather than store it in the bag. Water sitting in the bag overnight in the fridge developed a funny taste. Not sure if it was from the filter or the bag itself. It does come with its own charcoal filter that is replaceable. The primary filter is good for a really long time. We have Lifewater drinking bottles and a pitcher that haven’t left the water with a funny taste. I think it may be because this bag is designed for hiking and emergencies so the filtration is extremely effective.

Title: Worth every penny
Review: I bought TWO products like this for the first time last fall to prepare for a strenuous, all-day high-altitude hike in back country . They work independently but they also work together, so I appreciate having a backup but I also appreciate the modularity. The beauty of this particular product is that it easily folds up and takes up very little space, yet it’s there when you need it. And I needed it. And was thankful I had it. Seems like a lot of potential risks to screw it up for first time users, but it really is very intuitive. Now I feel like an old pro. Long-term storage and preservation is definitely more complicated than active use. But whatever, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Title: Run farther with this bottle
Review: Great for hiking and running. The filter works very well and allows for longer runs where clean water is not available. Easy to fill and clean. Does not leak. There’s a bit of a plastic taste from the bottle but it’s not too bad

Title: My favorite water filter for hiking
Review: My favorite water filter for light weight hiking/climbing. Super easy to use and store. Compact. I fill it up at stream crossings and use it directly as my water ‘bottle’.

Title: Easy to sip
Review: This product is easier to sip out of than I initially thought. Not sure about the filter part as I am just testing at home at the moment. But I do have to say the plastic taste is there. But I am getting it to filter the bad stuff so I am ok and expected the plastic taste as I have another bottle that is similar that I use for snowboarding. Only thing is it does take less effort to drink and I can see how it can be useful to pour filter water out of this unit. I chose this just in case sipping was hard and I could still squeeze water out to help me drink the water. Would recommend but be warned of plastic taste.

Review: Used a few times and so far so good, filled up at few water sources with no ill effects nice and portable. I like the fact you can attach directly to a normal soft drinks bottle.Cleaning isn’t too bad, long term storage is a bit challenging requiring to be stored wet. It’s great quality though and worth while investment if your a hike or a camper.
