It can not distinguish some uncomplex words. It defaults to Chinese translation even though I only use it for english to spanish. It is slow to boot up for use. I would not rely on it entirely if I were to travel. I have only used its memory, not its wifi or text photo features – so I cant evaluate those last 2. The screen is dim outside – hard to read . It does both speak and write the translation. You can check that it is translating what you speak in to it because it also writes that too.
