Really, they have a way more quality feel to them over paper bags.Whether that’s good or bad for vacuuming I can’t say. I can say that the opening is the right size for my Kenmore 50557 model and fitment was perfect. The vacuum functioned normally after I installed one.They are however noticeably larger than standard paper bags and it’s a tight fit in the the bag compartment, though they do fit.
