Title: stable and very practical
Review: My son has one of these from a different vendor and I find it surprisingly comfortable. This one is extra nice, has powder coating on the poles, though they are a bit bigger and heavier as a result. It is still quite compact. I brought it in my carry on roller bag to take on a cruise so I could set it up in front of my ocean view window in my small cabin and it worked great. The seat is hard to assemble the first time or two but if you put it on its side and flex the poles toward each other you can get it (I am not strong and have arthritis, if I can do this anyone can). Good reinforcement on the pole pockets so they shouldn’t tear quickly. Seams on the seat seem solid. Recommended.

Title: great things DO come in small packages!
Review: These are great chairs. they pop up and go together very quickly. I was worried they would not be sturdy enough for an adult but once together they are very comfortable and stable. These weigh next to nothing and pack away into a very small bag. These are great for the beach and trail camping.

Title: Camp chair
Review: I am fifty three years young. I am a disabled veteran. I was afraid that I would not be able to got out of the chair once I got my butt in it. I am pleased to say that I do not need anybody’s help I am able to get out of the chair easily. This chair will get a lot of use when I take my kayak out. I was surprised on how easy this chair was to put together and disassemble. Somebody took the time to think how can I make this thing durable. If you are an adventurer who likes to kayak, hike or climb this chair is for you. It is sturdy, lightweight and extremely functional. It packs up small so it will be ready to go when you are. It is a great value for the money. Get yourself one, or buy two so you spouse doesn’t steal yours.

Title: Ignore weight recs; durability non-existent
Review: Bought this chair in advance of a week of hiking; set up and tested the weight limit in my apartment with no issue—I’m ~30 lbs under the weight limit, but it was meant to serve as a seat for my partner (who is ~100 lbs under the limit) anyway. Fast forward to camping (which naturally fell outside of the return window) and the leg folded like cooked spaghetti within 30 minutes of use. The ground was mildly soft (think how Midwest soil is in autumn), but not muddy or wet—nothing which would validate such a catastrophic failure, particularly with someone 100 lbs *under* the weight limit sitting on it! If you’re set on buying a small chair like this, spend your money on a different brand that’s more reliable.
