Hatch Restore 3 Sunrise Alarm Clock, Sound Machine, Smart Light (Cocoa) – White Noise, Screen-Free Sleep Routine

Title: Great Clock, Amazing Features
Review: I’ve been using the Hatch Restore 3 for a while now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made for my sleep and overall daily routine.First, the design is beautiful and minimal, so it looks great on a nightstand without feeling like another piece of tech clutter. Setup was incredibly easy through the app, and within minutes I had my nighttime and morning routines customized exactly how I wanted them. The sleep routines are where this device really shines. The gentle sunset light combined with calming sounds helps my brain actually wind down instead of scrolling endlessly on my phone. The sounds are high quality and soothing, not tinny or repetitive and the gradual dimming makes falling asleep feel natural rather than forced. The alarm experience is a total game-changer. Waking up to a soft sunrise light and gradual sound is so much better than a harsh phone alarm. I feel more awake, less groggy, and way less stressed in the morning. It’s especially great for darker winter mornings or anyone who struggles to wake up.I also love the customization: brightness, sound levels, timing, and routines to fit your exact sleep schedule. Whether you want white noise all night, a guided wind-down, or just a simple light alarm, it handles it effortlessly.Overall, the Hatch Restore 3 has genuinely improved my sleep quality and morning mood. It feels like a small luxury that makes a big difference every single day. If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend it—this is one product that actually lives up to the hype.

Title: Game Changer to my Morning Wake Up
Review: I didn’t expect the Hatch Restore 3 to make as much of a difference in my sleep as it has, but it’s honestly become one of my favorite things in my bedroom. It feels like a full sleep experience rather than just a gadget. The design is beautiful and minimal, so it doesn’t look like a piece of tech cluttering up my nightstand, and the setup through the app was quick and straightforward. What really stands out is the wind-down routine. Instead of just going to bed, the Restore 3 gently guides you there with soft sunset lighting, calming sounds, and optional meditations or sleep stories. The gradual dimming light makes falling asleep feel natural, and the sound quality is rich and soothing without being harsh. Mornings are just as impressive: the sunrise alarm slowly brightens the room before easing you awake with gentle audio, which feels so much better than being jolted awake by a phone alarm. I genuinely wake up feeling less groggy. While there is a subscription for some of the content it’s helped me build a consistent routine and improve both how fast I fall asleep and how I feel in the morning. In terms of improving my sleep and having something that actually helps you unplug at night, I think it’s absolutely worth it.

Title: Takes the pain out of waking up!
Review: I am NOT a morning person, so I’m always looking for way to make waking up an easier process. (The sound of iPhone alarms I’ve used years ago still send my heart racing.) The Hatch Restore 3 has been a wonderful solution with a gentle alarm that takes the pain out of waking up.It starts with a soothing sunrise light that slowly brightens in the lead-up to your wake time, so your body is already naturally easing into the morning before the alarm even kicks in. And the alarm itself softly fades in, calming tones without any sudden blare. Most days, the light alone has been enough to wake me, and the alarm is just a gentle final push into the waking day. Right now I’m really enjoying the “Blue Light Morning” alarm, but there are so many other options I’m excited to work through.I’ve also added a second light-only alarm using the “Villa” light that I use as a mood lamp while I’m getting ready. It creates such a nice atmosphere in the morning and is a small thing that’s made the whole routine feel a little more enjoyable. On the wind-down side, I’m still working my way through all the “Unwind” options and have been loving the Sound Baths, Soundscapes, and Music selections. There’s such a great variety that I can just pick whatever sounds right for my mood that night without overthinking it. My bedroom feels like a spa! I’ve been falling asleep to the water and rain sounds lately. There are actually several different options for the type and intensity of rain, which is a nice touch. I’m also looking forward to trying out the meditations, which I haven’t gotten to yet.I like leaving the clock on permanently, so I’m not tempted to look at my phone if I wake up in the middle of the night, but you can also set it to display the time only when you tap it, if you get clock anxiety at night.Setting up the Restore and the app was pretty straightforward even without reading the directions. I’m still fine-tuning my favorite routines, but even the very first options I tried were great. Only a few days in and I’m already looking forward to both my morning and bedtime routines, which honestly says it all.

Title: Winding down
Review: ReviewThe Hatch Restore 3 has made my evenings and mornings so much more relaxing. The assortment of alarms allow you to choose between peaceful music, calming bird noises, and upbeat messages to get your day started. I no longer wake up startled from my blaring phone alarm and then have to deal with staring at a full brightness screen trying to get it to shut off. The Restore slowly lights my room and softly wakes me up with its calming presence. The app is very straightforward, nicely designed, and very customizable. I’ve enjoyed the different light settings for each of the steps of my unwinding routine, the feature to preview all of the sounds, and being able to turn clock the time on and off so that there’s not light at night is a really great addition. I really have enjoyed customizing my schedule between the week and weekend, and being able to skip through some of the steps if I’m having a late night allows me to still fall asleep to the sounds I like.Overall, this clock has really upped the quality of my sleep through a more peaceful wind down and wake up.

Review: Very disappointing. The hardware is good but the app is unusable. There is a lot of potential in this product but they will only realise it when they throw out the current app and rebuild it with ease of use and flexibility in mind. Honestly this industry is begging for a competitor to come in and show us how this can be done well. Unfortunately Hatch is not that (yet? 🤞). I’d love to return my Hatch 3 and wait for that competitor, maybe they never come but this $200 disappointment is not bringing me any joy.

It’s very sleek and minimalist so it looks great in my room, and the features including sleep sounds, podcasts, meditations, and alarm choices as well as sunlight options are to die for!

Review: Love this clock. It has made my morning wake up so much smoother, no jarring alarm. The ability to customize the length of the sunrise allows me to just look and see if it’s begun to know if I should go back to sleep. It facilitates habits of waking up at the same time. I have no complaints
