The bag material is super foldable, lightweight, soft, silent and easily wipes off clean. Nothing in my head says try machine-washing. The handles are great for hanging on coat hooks. Four bags is a good number. I use them for carrying shoes and for other things when not officially traveling, like gym shoes, towels, t-shirts, socks, or personals. It will hold a rolled-up vest. But definitely not adult-sized boots. This is a keeper and a great gift – especially for the persons who think they have everything.
