Review: This portable power station that I recently bought and starting using has honestly amazed me by a long shot. Title: Great power station for travel!
Review: For power on the go, this is a great portable power station.It has five charging ports, plus the built-in USB-C cable:Two USB-A ports (out)One USB-C port with PD 3.0 (up to 20V; in/out)DC portA/C outlet (out)All the ports can run simultaneously, up to the total output limit for the unit. The built-in USB-C cable is also PD 3.0.To turn the unit on, press the on/off button one short press. But it also automatically turns on when you connect to any port other than the A/C. The unit will automatically turn off after a bit when no port is in use. All the ports can be used for charging while the unit is plugged in to charge except for the A/C outlet.For the A/C outlet, after the short press to turn the unit on, do a long press of the on/off button to turn on. The A/C outlet will stay on even if the outlet isn’t in use (but the rest of the outlets will automatically turn off if not in use). The A/C outlet must be manually shut off with a long press of the on/off button. Otherwise, it stays on and consumes power. The A/C outlet is rated for 80W, with a peak of 120W. It is modified sine wave (not recommended for power tools or fans.)I like the self-monitoring smart protections for safety., including:OverheatingOver ChargeOver DischargeOver CurrentShort CircuitIf any of the conditions occur, the unit will stop input/output and display an error code. To clear the code, just turn the unit off. Overheating will automatically clear once the unit cools.The battery capacity is just under100wh, giving hours of power for laptop, portable fridge, outdoor lighting or other travel/camping gear. It can be recharged on the go by plugging into a vehicle power outlet (vehicle running so you don’t run down the vehicle battery). The 99.9wh capacity appears on the specs plate on the unit, so getting it through security check-in at the airport in your carry-on luggage should be easy (100wh TSA limit).The design of this power station is very well thought out.
