Title: Great for swimming with whale sharks!
Review: My husband and I recently went to Cabo on vacation and needed some good reef safe sunscreen for some of our water adventures like this one with the whale sharks. It works great, we used it for the whole trip, got zero sunburns and it doesn’t feel greasy and gross, stinky or heavy and pore clogging. It definitely has a stronger white cast than others I’ve used but otherwise no complaints!

Title: Two Thumbs Up! Way Up!
Review: I am a fan of Blue Lizard. It works very well and, as an added bonus, seems to also be a great moisturizer. A little bit goes a long way. I mention that because titanium oxide is not just great at protecting you from UV rays, it is also great at making you look like a Kabuki Dancer. Be diligent about rubbing it into your skin. This is the non-Sports version. I’ve not gone swimming with it, but hiking for hours in 90+ degree weather it has stayed on well. So well that it can take a bit of work to wash off later. My wife has been using “higher end beauty sunscreen” at about four times the price. Even she had to admit that, possible white sheen aside, Blue Lizard was a more effective sunscreen.

Review: I recommend this for anyone who is ultra sensitive and potentially has MCAS who lives in very hot and sunny locations (I’m in Queensland Australia). I have MCAS and struggle to find products I don’t react to due to perfumes but I was able to wear this without issues. Just be sure to rub it in as it is does leave a whiteness to your skin being zinc and all.
