I use it to press out my cotton blouses on a daily basis if need be. I use it on my bed instead of hauling out the big ironing board and large iron. The temp was perfect and did the job. I used the steam. This is perfect for travel or visiting out of town guests and not bothering them to use their iron! It heated up quickly. Has A long cord with it’s own tie up Velcro. I would absolutely buy it again, I used for a tough fabric for costumes and it worked beautifully. Heats up fast, easy to maneuver and use. It is deceiving because it’s small but powerful. I feel like it’s worth the money because I’m going to use this a lot for quick fixes. Also – great color! I joined a sewing class and they recommended buying a mini iron to keep next to the sewing machine so seams can be pressed as you work – especially when working quilt pieces. So I have the iron and a thick wool ironing pad (12 x 15″) on my sewing table. There are so many versions of the tiny irons and most of the reviews said the irons worked fairly well except the steam irons leaked. I purchased the PIOMATIC Mini Travel Steam Ion based on its favorable reviews. I couldn’t be happier – this iron is just great! This is a tiny craft/travel iron, so I didn’t expect it to have a normal size water reservoir. No matter how I tested it, there have been NO LEAKS and the steam as well as dry ironing works perfectly. The cord is long and wraps nicely around the handle. The handle is high enough that there is no problem with fingers getting burned. Others in the class comment that it is perfect for our quilt sewing projects and very comfortable as we pack & bring our sewing machine & supplies to the 5 hour long weekly classes. I hope the iron lasts a long time. For now, I would say don’t hesitate and buy this one. It’s small size is also good for getting into those places full size irons have trouble getting into. The only downside, but one to be expected, is that the water tends to run out sooner than a traditional iron. Beyond that, I enjoy it Reviewer: Polly Rose Rating: 5.0 out of 5 stars Title: Great item! Review: This is the best lil iron for traveling and for someone who sews and quilts. Perfect size and heats instantly. Reviewer: Jennifer Rating: 5.0 out of 5 stars Title: Powerful Little Iron for Travel and Crafts! Review: I was pleasantly surprised by how well this Travel Mini Iron with Steam performs! It’s compact and lightweight, making it perfect for travel, but it still heats up quickly and produces plenty of steam for its size. The dual voltage feature is a huge bonus — I used it overseas without needing a converter. The non-stick soleplate glides smoothly over fabric, and it’s been especially handy for sewing and quilting projects. It’s small enough to get into tight seams and corners where a regular iron can’t reach. I also love that it fits easily in my suitcase or sewing kit.If you travel often or do handcrafts that require precision pressing, this little iron is a must-have. It’s surprisingly powerful, reliable, and easy to store. Highly recommend! Really good Heat and steam. I keep it next to my sewing machine and use it to press seams and other areas as I go! I can’t believe I didn’t have one earlier! Functions well like a full sized iron. You need this! She says she loves it Reviewer: Courtney Rating: 4.0 out of 5 stars Title: Review: Good little iron. The cord can be annoying if you’re plugging it into the wall on the opposite side of the cord. Wish the cord was on the back(bottom) of it. Also runs out of water quickly. But it gets the job done
