Review: I always wanted an Apple TV and I was not disappointed. I got a refurb so it was a good value in my opinion this was easy to connect and set up and works super fast l. It has all the apps I could need and gets used literally every evening.

Title: Runs Smooth
Review: *UPDATE after many minutes on google I figured out that you simply hold the tv button down and power button will pop up on the top right of your screen where you can easily power off your tv. We had been putting it to sleep by going through settings.We upgraded to an Apple TV device and it is sooooooo smooth. It’s really easy to use and the response is quick. No lag. If I could change some things I would change the pad sensitivity. It’s hard to get used to. I also wasn’t a fan of not having an actual power button. You have to go to settings and scroll down to sleep. It’s pricey but worth it over like a Roku for example. The quality of the product is worth the small annoyances.

Title: Absolute Favorite Streaming Device
Review: I had an apple box that was lost on vacation and i ordered this one to replace it. The quality of the product was perfect, brand new , it was very easy to set up equipment and follow directions to transfer all my apps and photos. It took literally less than 3 minutes to connect to WiFi, the remote will change the volume for any tv connected to device and the remote only needs to be charged once every 90 days, the battery life is amazing. 10/10 would recommend great item for price , it’s also very compact and can fit anywhere great for travel

Title: Seems refurbished
Review: The item works well, but it arrived with a dent in it and needed updating before use because I couldn’t find my apps. The new remote takes some getting used to because you don’t always push buttons. You slide your fingers like the iPhone. You have to figure this out for yourself. But the picture quality is very good.

Title: So much better than other streamers
Review: I’ve been on Roku for years now, and it just cannot compare to this device. It costs a lot more, but for good reason. Not only is the interface worlds better, the quality of the picture is miles ahead, and I very rarely get a buffering delay now, which happened often with Roku on the same network and from the same content providers.If I could deduct a half-star for this particular model, it would be for the remote. The trackpad is really elegant, but they did much better with the next generation remotes. This one has no dedicated power button and no mute button (!)Luckily, the Gen-2 or Gen-3 remote is compatible with this box, so I recommend the extra investment in that. https://amzn.to/4cSBslY

Title: Remote is far too thin.
Review: I wish the remote was easier to pick up. I think I’ll add adhesive backed pads so I can get a better grip on it. In an effort to miniaturize, Apple did a great job. But, ergonomically, not so much. I’ve never seen a TV remote so small. There are no instructions that explain the remote functions – you need to figure that out for yourself. The “swipe” pad is extremely sensitive and it’s easy to over-shoot channels, so you need to slow WAY down. Despite those drawbacks, everyone knows Apple engineers can be counted on to produce a product that excels in a quality build.
