The glass itself feels high quality. The silicone sleeve is essential; it offers great grip and some decent protection against minor bumps or setting it down hard on a table. It also helps prevent condensation mess.It is, of course, heavier than a plastic bottle. The extra weight is noticeable when it’s full, so it’s not ideal for super lightweight hiking, but it’s fine for daily use around the house or office. My main concern is that while the sleeve helps, I’m still nervous about dropping a glass bottle and having it shatter.But the sleeve makes a huge difference in usability and peace of mind. It feels durable and looks sleek. If you prioritize taste and reducing plastic, this combo is excellent. It feels much more premium than a standard bottle. It is leak proof when turned on its side, and the lock seems to work pretty well for keeping the lid from opening unintentionally.
