I am so glad I got this before the ice storms hit. It is a great choice based on the convince to take it everywhere and the option to charge multiple devices. I love it and definitely recommend. First by charging single cell batteries with usb charging and a known capacity, second by charging devices with a known battery capacity. Tested this 3 times each. It is closer to & more like a 10k mAh power bank. Additionally, upon receiving the power bank I could tell right away that is was going to perform poorly, simply because the weight of the power bank was very light. I’ve been building Lifepo4, Li Ion, & Li Po battery packs for many years now. I’ve built multiple 72V batteries for my E bike. One of them was a 48 Ah battery. It contained 200 individual 18650 cells connected in 10P/20S. I had to do a lot of charging and testing to get all the cells balanced. So I have a lot of equipment to make this happen. No way is the description of this power bank accurate. If they used a decent battery, this power bank would be so awesome. The solar charger works too. But the manufacturer definitely is being cheap by using either a poor grade battery, or simply lying about the battery’s capacity. Either way, this is a disappointment. Review: This has been so helpful for me since I did photography until knowing that I have a charger that can charge solar powered helps a ton in multiple different situations! Haven’t used the solar part yet Reviewer: Amazon Customer Rating: 5.0 out of 5 stars Title: Backup power for my iphone during storms, camping, hunting Review: There was a storm coming and I, like many, were fearful of power outage. I had my batteries/ flashlights/backup batteries for my phone but who knows how long we’d be without power? One storm we were without power for 2 weeks! Without my phone so I can call for emergency services or relatives to come help I’m in trouble. I added this to my arsenal of backup power. It can be hard wired charged but I’m keeping it in the window for solar power backup. Connecting cables are attached but conveniently tucked away. I don’t camp or hunt but got it as a gift for my hunting son and he likes knowing he has backup for his phone. I haven’t been through a storm with it – yet – hope never. But I feel I have an additional source to help me through in case I need it. Reviewer: Carmen Bautista Rating: 5.0 out of 5 stars Title: Solar power charger. Review: It’s a great gadget to have on hand in case of an emergency when there is no power to charge your phones. The best part it’s solar! Didn’t return as it’s not worth the trouble.
