Since it attracts fruit flies to be trapped, for a while you will see MORE fruit flies. I’d say essentially no flies after maybe three days, or just an occasional fly. Take the top off and look inside, you see nothing, but look inside with a FLASHLIGHT and you see thousands of dead ones on the bottom. My guess is that it takes a few days to fully interrupt the fly breeding cycle. Reviewer: Jonathan Rating: 1.0 out of 5 stars Title: Does not work Review: This thing doesn’t trap or kill the flies. It just attracts them to hang out around it from time to time. Not a single fly went inside to drown and you can make a better one yourself with apple cider vinegar and dish soap. See the pictures for proof. The flies just happily chill and enjoy themselves around this trap without actually flying in. All were inside the Wondercide bottles. I am SO Happy! Changing from two stars to five stars! This product has captured two flies in 5 days. They land on the product but they dont go in.I guess I have professional flies. We still have about a thousand more to go. I am having more success with a bowl of dawn, ACV, and a piece of apple. I gave two stars for two flies. Reviewer: Walter Williams Rating: 3.0 out of 5 stars Title: Didn’t work for us Review: Inside product didn’t work for us at all. Had 2 placed around house. Used the sticky yellow traps and those caught more gnats than anything but non were attracted to this. Maybe outside on patio would be different. Reviewer: Stevie walls Rating: 4.0 out of 5 stars Title: Pricey but works Review: At first me and my husband was like this stuff don’t work it’s only apple cider vinegar. The fruit flies would just fly on the top and then fly away. But as time pass I ask my husband have he seen any fruit flies around he said NO, I said me either. So the bottom line give this product time to do it’s job and you would see I big difference. I recommend putting it by the places that really need it the most. I got one by trash can and in my living room. Reviewer: Donna Shepard Rating: 2.0 out of 5 stars Title: Much smaller than expected which would be fine if it worked Review: I thought it was supposed attrack and KILL. As far as I can see it DEFIANTLY ATTRACKS but I have yet to see any deaths, .except for the ones that I assist with my hand held bug zapper. I have even removed the lid looking for victims and sadly none are available for viewing. So its only been 2 days so I will continue to monitor this product and if it comes to life for its claim to fame I will gladly report it. But rest assured I am suffering a knat invasion of epic proportion and I am on the war path!!!! Reviewer: Ellie Rating: 5.0 out of 5 stars Title: Easy to set and throw out after catching all the fruit flies Review: These work well, but are likely just apple cider vinegar lol – they smell the same as ACV. Definitely work though! Reviewer: Tyler Richmond Rating: 3.0 out of 5 stars Title: Perfect for the summer months. Review: Perfect for the summer months. Easy to install! Could have caught more and didn’t last as long as I was hoping. But I would buy again.
