I really only needed one, so I thought, but to be honest, the second one came in handy when we did our laundry before leaving the Outer Banks of North Carolina and headed back home. Each one is big enough to hold 2 weeks of laundry from 2 adults. The material is strong and water resistant (good for when doing laundry at the Laundromat on a rainy day 😉). The strings are easy to pull and ok to carry the bag over your shoulder. We used the second bag when doing laundry to separate darks from light colors and again to carry each of our laundry from the laundry facility back to our room. They fold back up easily and pack away easily in the luggage taking up very very little space. If I needed to buy again these would be the bags I’d go for. Hopefully they hold up to storing laundry. I guess for $6.00 that’s what I get. The bags are large enough for at least few pounds of laundry. String on top of bag use to close the bag. The bags being plastic are waterproof. The plastic isn’t very thick it might tear after several uses. I’ll find out later on
