The pack doesn’t take up room until I need it because it folds down quite compact, making it easy to fit in my suitcase or another bag.The adjustable straps are comfortable enough for several hours of walking, and when unfurled, the size is ideal for carrying the necessities, drinks, snacks, etc.The only drawback is that it feels somewhat thin, so I wouldn’t expect it to withstand tough, everyday use or overload it with large objects. However, it’s a fantastic lightweight, portable daypack that fulfills all of my needs for the price. It is light and the shell is durable nylon similar to a 200 Denier in typical active back pack. Strong enough in my opinion going up the mountain to carry simple things like keys, wallet, headphones, a hand towel, snacks and a water bottle (stainless or plastic if that’s your thing). I am not sure what people are carrying in this thing but if you need to carry more than this …it’s best you get typical canvas or 1000Denier nylon heavy duty backpack.Sometimes we need just a light travel backpack or a bag other than waist pack to carry just key items that includes a water bottle and snacks as you venture out for the day. The model in the picture must be very small. It says you can fit a laptop in it. No, you cannot. Again, too small. Buy it for your child, not for you.
