I get cold easily and I’m too much of a germaphobe to trust airline blankets. I chose this for the size of the blanket (it’s larger than most i compared it to) and the reviews.I ended up not having to use the blanket until I was in my hotel, and whilst on the plane, I used it as my pillow. I basically got a twofer.I washed it in the regular cycle and air driedStayed plush, super soft and absolutely no shedding. It’s also compact and very light weight and the handy clip allowed me to simply latch it to my handbag. Love the color. The small blanket is just the right size for use on a plane or in a car as a passenger. The material is extremely soft but is does generate static in a dry environment. When the blanket is stuffed inside the pillow the resultant pillow is just at the transition between soft and firm. Being a square pillow, it tends not to stay put if you move a lot. The material and construction are of good quality. The blanket is relatively thick, so it is warmer than the typical airline blanket. I love the strap on the pillow that makes it easy to attach to your carry-on.The negative is that you can’t have both the blanket and the pillow at the same time. I wish the pillow had a blow-up insert. The pillow is kind of useless without its stuffing when you are using the blanket.Overall, the pillow/blanket met my expectations, and the price is good for the value.
