I do not like to drink water but know I should. It makes it easier to drink as it shows how much to drink every hour which makes it more doable for me. The only drawback is they are not insulated, but if they were you would not be able to see the amount you have drank so you have to weigh which is more important to you. I did not want to send a new disposable one each day and I did not want a metal one because of the weight it adds to an already heavy backpack. I also wanted it to be similar in size to the store bought ones for the purpose of fitting in his bag. Most 16 oz ones are very childish, so finding this was amazing – basic color for a boy. Easy to refill at home and school. Has measurements/time table on the side that he tries to follow for fun. Drinkable spout. The lid also locks so that it doesn’t open by mistake in his backpack.
