1. Coffee Hopping and NYC Pizza
The second part of the New York trip started with my friend joining me. We kicked off the day with “Feel Good” juice and espresso at Joe & The Juice to fuel up. For lunch, we headed to L’Industrie Pizzeria. Seeing them make the pizza right in front of you adds to the experience, and the Tartufo and Margherita slices were fresh and absolutely delicious.

Later, we went for a second round of coffee at % Arabica. This was my favorite spot when I lived in the UAE, and I was so happy to find it here in New York since we don’t have it in Quebec.
2. An Afternoon at MoMA
We dressed up a bit for the evening and visited the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Seeing iconic works like Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night and Claude Monet’s Water Lilies in person was mesmerizing. The museum is huge, so you can easily spend hours getting lost in the incredible art.
3. Fine Dining and Rooftop Views

For dinner, we indulged in a feast of seasonal oysters, spicy tuna cones, wagyu carpaccio, and premium sushi. The hojicha tiramisu was the perfect sweet ending. Afterward, we grabbed mocktails (the Emerald Coin was great!) at The Ritz-Carlton and checked out the rooftop bar Nubeluz for some stunning city views, though we didn’t stay long. We ended the night with a classic late-night snack: The Halal Guys.

4. Best Bagels and Luxury Stay
The next morning, we tried Apollo Bagels. The line was long, but the salmon and tomato bagel was totally worth it—my friend loved it! We then moved our accommodation to the Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown. The room was beautiful, and having the pool all to myself for a swim was a highlight.
5. Shopping, Art, and Jazz Night
We spent the afternoon exploring, stopping by the Gentle Monster store which feels like an art gallery, and checking out the KAWS exhibition. For our final night, we booked a table at The Nines, a famous piano jazz club. The atmosphere was dark and romantic, and the burger and salmon were excellent. It was hands down my favorite dining experience of the trip.
